Sands Hotel Wedding Venue in Palm Springs California
Rachel & Bryan got married at my favorite Palm Springs wedding venue, Sands Hotel
Sands Hotel is one of the dreamiest place for a destination wedding in Palm Springs. Rachel, Bryan, and all their friends and family traveled from Canada! They were able to enjoy their Palm Springs wedding not just for the day but the whole weekend! Guests booked all 46 rooms making the entire event/venue private for their enjoyment.
Rachel and Bryan had the best Palm Springs wedding planner, Courtney, from After the Engagement who I highly recommend if you plan on having a desert wedding! Every detail was accounted for but most importantly she makes sure that the vibe is good and the fun is had! Rachel got ready in the Spa surrounded by Moroccan inspired architecture and gorgeous flowers by The Lavender Rose .
While the girls got ready the boys enjoyed the bar at The Pink Cabana! The restaurant on site is to die for, I high recommend their yogurt and granola haha.
Sands Hotel Lobby
The lobby is my favorite hidden gem in Palm Springs. It made the perfect dramatic backdrop for Rachel and Bryan’s first look. The walls are adorned with unique black and white tile accompanied by a cactus lined entrance. Sands Hotel and Spa is a boutique hotel so you can expect excellent services and a quiet environment
The Living Desert
Palm Springs has plenty of options for bridal party portraits but we fell in love with the options at the Living Desert. The staff was nice enough to arrange a trolley so we could quickly get from point A to point B!
Aren’t Rachel’s parents the cutest? They were so Palm Springs chic!
Palm Springs Ceremony Venue
Looking at this gorgeous ceremony backdrop makes me weak in the knees. Not only is it gorgeous but it’s backlit- aka a photographers dream.
I could try and choose a favorite part of my day but honestly there are too many to mention. We have never felt more appreciated by guests. Everyone was happy, spirited, and grateful to be apart of their special day. I still get emotional looking back on this wedding!
If you know me, you know I love cocktail hour! As a Palm Springs wedding photographer I try to encourage all my couples to do a first look. Why? You’ll get to enjoy cocktail hour rather than doing portraits! Score.
It’s pretty hard to beat this venue, but a close second is The Parker
